(Pretty Little Liars Inspired) NOTD: Pretty In Pink By Color Studio & Lemon Ice-Cream By Barry M

I know this post coming after a long hiatus, but it's only because I have been really busy. I have been accused of being 'distracted' and 'life shutter outer' (you know who you are!!). This month shall hopefully be different.

This NOTD was supposed to be up last week, but I just couldn't get around it. I tried to recreate Hanna's look with similar looking shades. Honestly, it took me a while to get used to it. I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. I had to endure a lot of teasing from my mother. However after a couple of hours I got used to it and started loving the bright florescent colors on my nails. The colors both individually and combined scream spring. (I'm not looking forward to winter slipping away).

Color Studio Pretty In Pink

I'm not a big fan of the Color Studio nail polishes, but I adore this pretty pink, which is also called Pretty In Pink. It is So me! This is a color I will be using a lot for spring/summer. I used two coats of it to achieve this look.
What I don't like about the Color Studio nail polishes is that they chip easily. This particular one started chipping the very next day (note: I did not use a base coat or a top coat). Also, the consistency of the nail polish is very thin and tends to streak.

Color Studio has a large variety of colors available, and for Rs250 they're worth a try.

Barry M Lemon Ice Cream

I used my Barry M nail polish in Lemon Ice-Cream after what feels like forever. I had two coats of this as well, and I am really impressed with it's longevity. I had never noticed it's lasting power before, but painted next to the Color Studio one it totally showed off how long it could last without chipping (4 to 5 days). The Barry M nail polishes are my favorite- right up there with the Rimmel ones ( although I like the Rimmel one more for it's brush rather than it's lasting power).

I love Tuesdays, because I get to see so many of my favorite shows all on the same- Pretty Little Liars included. I never thought Melisa had anything to do with A. Did any of you see this coming? Who do you think A is?

PS: For all those in Pakistan who are hoping to get their hands on Barry M nail polishes now stocks them.

  1. This looks so good! I love pink and yellow how spring type! Glad you are back :)

  2. wowww both colors r simply awesome bt yellow is my fav :)

  3. this is soo cute! I love the color combo. The rimmel polishes with the wide brush is super easy to use!

  4. it looks so cool...and I have a perfect yellow and pink nail polish to copy this nail look.

  5. is the yellow too bright?? like i am not very fair. would it go with medium toned skin??

    1. Yes, it would look even better on medium skin tones. I love wearing it when I have a tan in the summer.
