Review: Herbie Fair Natural Face Mask

This mud mask has been a staple in my skin care routine for years. A couple of years ago, a family friend stayed with us in Lahore in order to complete her O-levels, while her family moved to Islamabad. At that stage in life we were obsessed with having flawless skin. Onisa tried countless herbal remedies when she stumbled upon this. She was the one who introduced me to it and I have been using it ever since. I recommended it to my friend Anum. After she started using it people started telling her she looked very 'fresh'.

Clearly, the pictures are photo-shopped but it works

Don't let the name of the product fool you. It does not make you 'fair', however it does even out your skin tone after a couple of uses, but that is only because it removes dead cells, stimulates circulation of blood in your face and brings oxygen and other essential nutrients to the skin. I can't tell you how much I love this face mask!!!! I used to have a box of sachets (RS15 each) before I bought the big jar. The sachet's started selling out in all the stores, and I had no choice but to start buying the jar (which is for RS200), which lasts me forever. Whenever I use it I always get compliments on my 'glowing' skin. Last year, for the first time in my life my skin started giving me problems. With frequent use of this mud mask my acne started fading away and now even the scares have disappeared. You can actually tell the difference when you use it for the the first time.

The mask has four versions, for different skin types. I've tried the one for oily skin, and Herbie Fair Plus, but they didn't work as good on my skin as the normal one does.

Ingredients:
Aloevera:
Aloevera is known as the Magic Plant for its multiple
benefits and contains  200 active compounds,
including  20 minerals,  18 amino acids, and  12
vitamins. It protects skin from UV rays and gives
extra moisturizer to skin.

Food Grains:
Food Grains are Rich in proteins therefore they
provide nourishment to the skin and helps in repairing the skin tissues.

Fuller’s Earth:
Fuller’s Earth which is also known as Multani Matti absorbs oil, dirt & harmful toxins,
retracts skin and removes fine lines & wrinkles.

I use it before special event/functions, or when I've been in out in the sun too much. I mix Herbie Fair with water, even though in the instructions it says that it can be mixed with rose water. Why? Only because I feel I don't get the same result with rose water. I think rose water will work better for those with dry skin.

I can't say enough good things about it. All I can say is that, don't judge the product because of its name. It's AMAZING and will do wonders for your skin.

It won the Brand of the year award in 2009 and it is  PCSI approved.

  2. Yes, it is available easily. Don't look for it at bigger stores like Al-Fatah, try stores like Roop Singhar instead.
