Review: The Body Shop Radiant Highlighter

I've been obsessed with Jennifer Lopez's glowy face for years. A couple of years ago, I started using bronzer because of her but I still couldn't get the famous J.Lo glow. I recently discovered her secret (yes, it took me a while. Haha!), and its a highlighter.

I bought my first highlighter a couple of months ago, and I'm in love with it. It's The Body Shop Radiant Highlighter, and its ah-mazing! I started using it during the wedding season in December and everyone kept asking me what I did to make my skin so glowy. Recently, my younger sister, who is better at applying make-up asked me if I could teach her how to highlight her face. I used this highlighter on her, and I was struck by how good it looked. This was the firs time I'd seen it on another person, and I could judge it better.

The Body Shop highlighter is ideal for enhancing your natural skin radiance, and it creates glowing accents to the places where the light normally hits your face. It has light reflecting particles that give the skin a dewy finish. The highlighter is pink with very finely milled shimmer in it, which makes it suitable for all skin tones. The texture is slightly thick but despite that it blends very easily in to the skin. If you, like me want an extra glowy skin, mix the radiant highlighter with your liquid foundation. Trust me, you'll love this product.

This picture does not do justice to it.

The highlighter is for 14$, which makes it around RS1200. Even though it's a little expensive, the highlighter is worth it. I've had it for months and I'm just half way through the tube. This is something I'm going to purchase again and again.

If you're new to highlighting your face, this face chart will help:

Apply the highlighter after you apply the blush, on the top of your cheekbones, forehead, chin and (just) on the curve of your upper lip. (Notice Jennifer's lips)
